So today got off to an early start due to the prospect of overtime. I had to get into work an hour early if I wanted to ensure that I could leave early enough to get over to New Frontier Armory / Infinite Arms before they closed so I could get the money for the AK-47 Adam had sold for me. Work ended up canceling the overtime after my shift, so I got out at the normal time and had plenty of time anyway which was nice.

Infinite Arms had some pretty cool guns out for my photographic and your viewing pleasure today. This one belongs to the owner of Infinite Arms and is not for sale. It’s a double barrel short barrel shotgun that needs a bit of work. He got it from another manufacturer and I can’t help but think of just how much fun I could have with something like this

31 March 2010 - Infinite Arms - .22 semi-auto SBR with a folding stock, vertical grip, and suppressor

The short barrel rifles (SBRs) above are for sale. They’re .22 guns which are made to look like H&K submachineguns, but which are only semi-auto and so are legal for civilians to own. When they came from the factory, they were actually pistols. The difference now is that they have shoulder stocks which makes them short barrel rifles. SBRs are regulated by the National Firearms Act of 1934 and require a different background check from other “normal” guns along with the payment of a $200 transfer tax when they change ownership. These are more for sport and fun than anything really tactical, but that suppressor (which requires another federal $200 transfer tax) makes ‘em even more fun 8) I would love to have one of these, but it’s going to be a while before that’s financially possible.
