Atty. Gen. Holder Admits Not Reading AZ Immigration Law Before Criticizing It

From Fox News:

Despite repeatedly voicing concerns about Arizona’s new immigration enforcement law in recent weeks and threatening to challenge it, Attorney General Eric Holder said Thursday he has not yet read the law — which is only 10 pages long.

“I have not had a chance to — I’ve glanced at it,” Holder said at a House Judiciary Committee hearing when asked had he read the state law cracking down on illegal immigrants.

Holder told reporters last month that he fears the new law is subject to abuse and that the Justice Department and the Homeland Security Department are in the midst of conducting a review.

I got this gem of a news story via email as well.

Go read the whole thing and come back.

OK, now wrap your head around this one.  The ATTORNEY GENERAL of the United States of America has seen fit to criticize a law enacted by a State Legislature and signed by the Governor.  And he publicly admitted that he hasn’t bothered to read it even though it’s only ten pages.  He’d rather get his information about it from newspapers and T.V.

Folks, I’ve read Arizona’s new immigration law.  It’s S.B. 1070.  I posted the whole thing on this blog as a matter of fact – click here to read it yourself.

And this is the top law enforcement official in the nation?

Ya mean the worthless sonofabitch can read? Wow! Wonders never cease. And I would guess that if he can read, his comprehension level is about that of kindergarten.
Not to mention the fact that he has his head so far up his ass, he looks at the world through a window in his stomach.
Do you get the idea that I may not like holder? Understatement. The man has a long way to go to match up with guys like me and Buck. Personally, I wouldn’t let him shine my shoes.

Probably he doesn’t actually read most things — like any big executive — gets a synopsis from an underling. Which is fine — BUT — great big BUT — when it is a very short document, do yourself a freaking favor and read the damn thing. Then you can talk about it, discuss it and if you really don’t agree with it, maybe you would change someone’s opinion.

But this way, Mr. Holder (see how polite I am, Glenn?) just looks rather foolish.

Do any any of these idiots read anything before they comment on it, or for that matter sign it into law. Our President comdemns a policeman doing his job, without any idea what he’s talking about. The US Congress and Senate sign a healthcare bill with no idea what it says and now the U.S. AG, opens his big mouth to condemn Arizona and admits he has read the bill. This is what we call a leader now days? There was a time when these were followers. It is one thing to be thought a fool, and many of us think Holder is, but to open you mouth and prove it?!!! And these people actually have the power to control our lives though bills not read, but signed any way. GOD SAVE AMERICA from incompetant votes that give us this type of leaders.

I was being polite. Worthless sonofabitch is the cleanest I could come up with. And he isn’t good enough to shine me and Buck’s shoes. Period.
And short is his public memory. But I did love the grilling his sorry ass got in that committee room, though. Acted like he had a garter snake in his skivvies!
