Memorial Day 2010

I’m going to keep this one short. Today is a day to remember and give thanks for those who have given their lives so that we may live free. The video above has some great examples for us to follow in my opinion.

I might post another one or two items today, but they’ll be related to Memorial Day as well.

To all who have sacrificed themselves so that I might enjoy freedom, thank you.  You are in my thoughts and prayers always.

I spent some time yesterday emailing back and forth with a friend in Afghanistan. Could tell you all day long how hard it is and how hot and a million other complaints — and I got NOT one complaint from him. Just hey, what’s going on, how you doing, what’s YOUR weather like?

He’s there with his unit, doing his job, be home in a few months. See ya!!

Yes, I certainly hope I will. Thanks again to all of them.
