Las Vegas Wx Report – 19 July 2010 – I Live In A Blow Dryer!!! Las Vegas weather - hot, dry and windy! It’s that time of year again here in fabulous Las Vegas, NV. The time of year you’d swear you live in a blow dryer. Take a look at those figures and try to imagine them all together. 109°, 12% humidity, wind 20 gusting to 28 mph. Those conditions mean that no matter what, you won’t feel cool outside. There’s nothing cool in the breeze. You’ll dry off in a heartbeat if you do get wet. Oh,well, since it’s still early here, it’s a balmy 82 and the humidty is a mere 70%. That humidty number will drop a bit, not a whole helluva lot, but a bit.
And breeze/wind??? Uh, no.
Sounds nice, Kath! That’s about what it was like under those thunderstorms on Friday night and I loved it
See, now it’s just after lunch and your temp. has soared to 104, while ours is just 89 and the humidity had gone down to 52%.
So even tho they’re saying the heat index here is 94 (and for you 98) it really doesn’t feel all that bad outside.
That’s really not that bad
Unfortunately it got quite a bit warmer. You really should go with me to Death Valley when it’s over 130 some time
