Election 2010 – House Of Representatives Before And AfterI have to say that I really wasn’t in the greatest of moods on election night in 2008. Things didn’t go my way at all. I’m for less government intrusion into my life, more freedom, and I want politicians to stay away from my firearms. This is how the country looked after the 2008 election with regards to the House of Representatives. Before yesterday’s election, Democrats held 258 seats, Republicans held 178, and there was one seat vacant. I found both of these maps at Fox News in case you were wondering And this is what that map has become after 2 November 2010. Look at all that beautiful red Congratulations to everyone who fought hard in their election races as well as everyone who went to the polls and voted. This is why no matter what some might say, the USA is still the greatest nation on Earth. Enjoy today with its lack of political advertising and then get ready for 2012 starting tomorrow. Let’s have an open, honest, and fair exchange of ideas and continue to LET FREEDOM RING 5 comments to Election 2010 – House Of Representatives Before And After |

But we are still stuck with that lying, cheating scumbag, Harry Reid. And I figure he, the son and the SEIU had a hand in Clark and Washoe Counties.
Senator Elect Coates of Indiana used this term, Obama REGIME! I do believe that in January, things are going to get interesting. And I am going to be looking for a civil service job at Luke or the Boneyard. Maybe even at Nellis.
We got moonbeam, again. Shit!
And Babs. What a hag!
The House is a good start. But only that.
One step and one day at a time. But the house will become a serious burr under the Won’s Saddle. Sort of takes the wind out for the Mumbai trip that is going to cost a serious fortune. The rest of the world loves him so much, they can have him.
Read something the other day saying that B.O. is close to loosing his marbles, all of them. And the FCOTUS(first cow) is said to be throwing major tantrums at decisions made that she does not approve of or did not have a hand in making. And I mean policy decisions that affect all of us. Hmmmmmm? Common thread with Hillary, there?
Remember, Hillary is not the most civil individual around either.
It was a good to see that people actually did vote, but still there were not enough people at the polls. I wish the numbers were higher.
But it is exciting to see that some steps were taken, there’s some new people, some fresh blood — what were some of those other cliches I kept hearing last night??? ;)
But it is a good start. And it was what elections are supposed to be — people are upset and aggravated with the incumbents, so they vote in new people to be aggravated with.
Next time, tho, some of the name calling I can really do without. That was totally tacky!
The fact that the turnover in the house was as drastic as it was, coupled with the denial of the now outgoing speaker and the CinC himself speaks volumes.
I saw a bit on Pelosi that said she refused to congratulate the GOP winners and said she was proceeding as before or words to that effect.
The key will be this. The GOP must present a unified front for the overturning of the nightmare known as Obamacare. Any GOP member of the house who waivers should be immediately taken to task. This unity is necessary to preserve the Union. Because should the damage not be repaired, there exists the possibility of separate states ceding from the Union. Because the CinC does not have the where with all or the balls to do anything. He is a campaigner not a leader, decision maker or blessed with anything that resembles character.
But you are right Kath, the lack of decorum is frightening. What have we descended into?
