Just when I was starting to hope that we’d see the end of the era of Caribbean communist dictators, here comes Hugo Chaves – AKA Castro 2.0.

Not content to flip the U.S. the bird until 2012, Castro Chavez is set to propose the elimination of Presidential term limits. Of course, term limits would remain for the rest of the politicians in Venezuela.

I try to look on the bright side if I can find it and I’ve managed to focus on the fact that at least we’ll get Cuba out from under Castro fairly soon – he ain’t no spring chicken after all.
