Picture(s) A Day – 26 November 2010 – Infinite Arms / New Frontier Armory

I don’t know about the rest of y’all, but I wasn’t really in a mood or in financial shape to do much shopping on Black Friday.  Rather than go out and deal with crowds in the normal stores, I stayed home for most of the morning before heading over to Infinite Arms / New Frontier Armory to say hi to all the people there and to discuss a few things with Adam.  Vegas Shooters had a shoot in the desert scheduled for that day, so I wanted to check a few things before the big day.

26 November 2010 - Diamondback Firearms DB380

This is a new item to IA/NFA and it looks like a pretty good little .380 for concealed carry.  The DB380 from Diamondback Firearms looks and feels somewhat like a micro Glock.  While it doesn’t have a Glock style safety in the trigger or any other manual safety, the DB380 does have a firing pin drop safety and a long five pound trigger pull.  Just remember that if you pull the trigger, it’s going to go bang if there’s a round in the chamber.  All guns are always loaded, right  ?

If you’ve heard rumors that I might be going over to the dark side, well, they’re true.  At least when it comes to rifles :)  Yep, I’m going to get an “Evil Black Rifle” as some people refer to the AR-15.  I’ve chosen the PlumCrazy in the middle here.  I really have given this quite a bit of thought and the Century C-15 Sporter on the bottom was a contender.  In the end factors including price, weight, an adjustable stock, and the options opened by the flat top upper on the PlumCrazy won out :thumb:

26 November 2010 - Panorama - Great selection on the AR-15 rifles :D

26 November 2010 - Panorama - Great selection on the AR-15 rifles :D

I can remember the time shortly after the 2008 election when you couldn’t touch an AR-15 in a store and most of what was out there sold for $1,500 at a minimum.  Happily, times have changed as you can see above :)  Click on the pic for full size and you’ll be able to read the signs on the wall with all the info on the guns

That’s it for this post, but I’ll be back soon!  Have fun everyone
