Picture(s) A Day – 19 December 2010 – New Frontier Armory Grand Re-Opening Day TwoI was back at New Frontier Armory again today for day two of the grand re-opening party If you haven’t heard of the Wounded Warrior Project, click here for the website You saw K-Var yesterday, but they weren’t the only ones at the store. Glock was represented today with a representative at the store answering questions and explaining new features. He also brought along this cool cut-away gun to show the inner workings. Thanks, Glock! Yankee Hill Machine suppressors are something you’ll normally find in stock at New Frontier Armory. This particular one is the quick detach stainless steel version (click here for details) and is the most expensive version. You can get a non quick detach version that’s not stainless steel for as low as $384. Suppressors are legal for private citizens to own in all but 12 states. The paperwork isn’t that bad and takes about two to six months to process at the BATFE. Along with the paperwork, you also pay a $200 tax on the transfer of ownership and there’s not much more to owning one of these here in Nevada A recent addition to the decorations at New Frontier Armory is this shotgun. This is a reminder that should you choose to reload your own ammunition (something I’ve considered for a while), by all means go for it but be sure to READ YOUR RELOADING MANUAL!!!
As for me, I purchased a few raffle tickets for the FN SCAR, got Mom’s Christmas shopping done, and picked up some ammo and a sling swivel for my AR-15. I had a great time again and I have to say thanks again to everyone who made it all happen 2 comments to Picture(s) A Day – 19 December 2010 – New Frontier Armory Grand Re-Opening Day Two |

Purchased a “few” raffle tickets? Good luck for the drawing.
I like the “read your reloading manual” display — good idea!!
Maybe for my Christmas shopping I can order some hats — might as well advertise on the East Coast, too.
Yep, only a few – budget kept that number fairly small.
The reloading manual thing – a good reminder!
Good luck with the Christmas shopping
