I managed to get a halfway decent picture of me on the V-Star for a change yesterday 
I noticed my reflection in the window as I pulled up, but waited until I was on my way back to work before snapping this pic.
I like the second one for the way it shows off the mountains, gas station, and all the rest. It seems like it has more context. On the other hand, the cropped version has its good points, too. I think I look pretty good on the bike with all that gear on and the dark smoke shield on the helmet 
Yes, I see the mountains. Where’s the palm trees? I don’t see any palm trees. There are supposed to be palm trees in all the pictures.
No, I’m not nervous/hyper about any hurricanes or earthquakes or anything. Everything is great. What fun. Science and nature combined to try to make my life more exciting. But I don’t see the palm trees. Where are the palm trees?
