How’s That Part About “Shall Not Be Infringed” Go Again?

The government of Guntersville, AL is working on passing a law that would allow cops to disarm law abiding citizens in the event of a disaster.

From WAAY TV:

The city council and mayor are considering a new ordinance that gives the city more power.

Mayor Leigh Dollar says it would ensure a quick response in the event of a major disaster, like the April 27, 2011, tornadoes.

But it would also give police officers more power.

The ordinance states officers could disarm individuals, if necessary.

Pardon me for asking, but isn’t an emergency when a lawful citizen is most likely to need a defensive firearm?  And can someone please tell me just how in the hell this doesn’t infringe on the Second Amendment?!
