3 August 2013 – Motorcycle Needs A Tire NOW!!!

I walked out to my motorcycle this morning and went to walk it out from under the deck when I noticed that it was very difficult to roll.  I was going to check the tire pressures anyway, so I put the tire gauge on the valve stem like always.

It didn’t move. It didn’t do anything  :?1:1

I looked at the tire and saw that it was nearly totally flat   :wtf2:

I’ll not repeat the :censored: which went through my mind as I try to keep the profanity here down to a dull roar.

I put a small 12V compressor on it for 10 minutes and got 5 PSI.  This is NOT good :cloud:

The deal now is this – There’s enough rubber to last a couple more months if I didn’t have a flat tire and I was planning on replacing the tire (about $150 to $175 with a new inner tube and labor) in November when I should have the money.  Just repairing it would probably be $60 to $75 and then I’d have to replace the tire in a couple months anyway.

I don’t know exactly what I’m going to do just yet, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to put some stuff up for sale online at the very least.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I do believe I’m going to sulk for a while while I contemplate the nasty fate known as Parked Motorcycle Syndrome which awaits me.  Maybe I’ll load the other  :censored: vehicle down with some guns and precious ammunition and go blow off some steam.  I’m have to work today, so it will have to wait.

I think the best way to describe the way today has started is this:

At least you are more mechanically inclined and know what to do and how to fix things. And — AND — have another vehicle to drive!!

Good luck, hope it’s fixed/repaired/new soon.

Came across these at work, I had not seen them before and I am in love. WOW!! Gorgeous, gorgeous guns. Fabulous. I always said a Glock was my Mercedes; well, then a Kimber must be my Bentley!!

And if you wanted to experience some of this fabulousness, they are GIVING ONE AWAY!! Yes. For real! You have to do everything like you were buying it — as in background check and taxes, et cetera.

I know, I know, write a darn post with pictures, right? Jeff, go ahead if you want. Bec. these guns are just too fabulous. Seriously.

(ok, back to work for me!)
