Much has been written about Ahmadinjad’s impending visit to New York. While I disagree with our continued participation in the United Nations as it has been proven to be a cesspool of corruption and anti-semitism, we agreed to let the leaders of member nations come and speak at the headquarters. I would love to see that changed and only allow them satellite access – it would save loads of money and congestion.

The news which made me nearly nauseous is that Ahmadinjad wanted to visit Ground Zero and go into the “Pit” during said visit. Aside from Iran being an officially declared State Sponsor of Terrorism who is working with Syria on chemical weapons, they’re also helping to kill our troops in Iraq. And aside from being the political head of Iran, Ahmadinjad was also one of those taking hostages at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran all those years ago.

It’s a crying shame IMHO that the U.S. plays by the rules and that turnabout isn’t fair play. That said, I think Chris Muir got it right again as he so often does .
