Picture(s) A Day – 10 July 2009Sorry if I disappoint with today’s entry, but I just wanted to go home at the end of the day. I figure if I can’t dazzle my readers with brilliance (and I refuse to baffle ‘em with BS), maybe I can educate ‘em a bit and get ‘em thinking. Tools come in handy. Tweezers, pliars, a small knife blade – they can all “save the day” in many situations. Most people don’t carry a whole tool box because it’s just too big and heavy. Happily, there are alternatives to a full tool box. These alternatives may not be as capable, but they give us a whole lot more options than our fingernails and teeth do My latest addition to the Parrothead Jeff arsenal of tools for better and easier living is the Gerber Clutch multi tool. It’s light and small, yet pretty capable. It disappears in my pocket and it won’t break the bank. I think we can all afford $20. From Gerber’s product web page:
I learned about this wonderful little tool from Nutnfancy and the review he did on it. I considered quite a few other options on the market, but the price was what convinced me Remember – you never know when you’ll need a screwdriver, a pair of pliers, or even a knife blade. You might have to cut a seat belt, slice packing tape, or even open a classic bottle of coke. You might just want to pick up a Gerber Clutch Have a great day everyone 3 comments to Picture(s) A Day – 10 July 2009 |

While this looks like a wonderful gadget, it would be wasted on me. I would never rem. all the extra uses of it. (Keep in mind I was going to buy a second 4-In-One screwdriver thing so I would have Phillips and straight-edge screwdriver. Sigh.)
But you’re right, for it to do all that for that price is a good deal.
Kath,
That sounds like something I might do at times
Still, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to keep it in your purse
