Nutnfancy – Dangerous Things – MUST WATCH!I don’t say that something is a “must watch” very often. Sure, I post stuff every day, but I usually have a “read this if you want to” attitude towards it. This is different. No, I won’t “force” anyone to watch this. Even if it were possible, I wouldn’t do that – I value freedom too much for that. Instead, consider this video to be very highly recommended viewing. From this video’s description by Nutnfancy:
There’s much more to the description than I’ve included here – this is just an excerpt. I’ve included it in this post because it gives everyone an idea of what’s covered in the video. I can’t find a single part of this video that I disagree with. Personal responsibility needs to make a comeback and soon. I have to add a personal section to this post about something I’ve run into more than a few times that relate to the subject matter discussed in this post. I own more than a couple of items that fall under the category of “Dangerous Things” which many people reading this will likely already know. This doesn’t just include my gun collection. There’s my HHR – a 3,000+ pound missile on the roadway, my knife collection, more than a few lighters around the house, and even a collection of tools. Any one of these things can be very dangerous if misused. The experiences I speak of mainly involve my gun collection, usually my AK-47 and its bayonet. What happens is that people keep saying that I shouldn’t have something (especially my AK) and nobody else should either because “You don’t need it” and therefore it’s OK if the government takes it away. It’s not always the AK-47. It’s been my bolt action rifles, knives, and even my car at times that have come under attack for one reason or another. What doesn’t change is that argument that “You don’t need (insert object here)” so it’s OK if it goes away. What’s very sad and very disturbing about this trend is that the people spewing this sewage (gotta keep the language clean here) have completely disregarded personal responsibility, accountability, and basic freedom and liberty. I usually come back with the FACT that they don’t need their car, their motorcycle, their ATV, or their jet ski and point out that many people are hurt or killed with these things every day – many more than guns – and ask them if it were OK if those were taken away. The usual response is that these aren’t weapons which is occasionally accompanied by shock and disgust at the thought of what I’ve just said. Of course, I counter with the fact that the Second Amendment protects weapons, but there’s nothing in the Constitution protecting their toys which often brings them to an aggressive boil. If they haven’t stormed away yet, they’ll stammer something political and then stomp off in a huff. It’s a sad reality that even here in Nevada where the State Flag contains the words “Battle Born” as a reference to Nevada becoming a state during the Civil War, people are losing their sense of Independence, Freedom, and Liberty. I have to say a big thanks to Nutnfancy for speaking out where it’s needed and to my readers for taking the time to stop by my little corner of Cyberspace. Y’all are great! Now go out there and use your skill sets to master some “Dangerous Things” in the course of conducting your normal life 3 comments to Nutnfancy – Dangerous Things – MUST WATCH! |
