Picture(s) A Day – 21 July 2009Yeah, I might apologize too much, but I do appreciate the time my readers take to come here and see what’s going on. I missed yesterday’s picture and there won’t be a new one for today either. I’m just sick. Doing better today to be sure, but seriously out of sorts none the less. I won’t go into details about yesterday, but let’s just say I left work two hours early and didn’t get much sleep. Today I’ve just been feverish, light headed and generally feeling about like something the cat dragged in. The last time I ate anything was about noon yesterday and I’ve been pretty much without an appetite since then. At least I’ve been able to hold down fluids. So what did I do aside from sleep? Well, I watched a couple of James Bond movies (Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace), watched a few Nutnfancy videos, and slept some more. OK, I’ll post a couple of pics y’all haven’t seen yet that I took a while back. My wonderful brother (yes, we still fight – we are brothers after all) took me for a drive back in December of 2007 when he came up to visit. Now my brother is retired Coast Guard and therefore has access to military bases. I’m sure everyone here will be positively shocked to find out that we wound up on Nellis Air Force Base And of course, I couldn’t resist taking a few pictures of some of the aircraft around the base I’m hoping I feel good enough to eat something tomorrow. I know I’ll be at work come Hell or high water, but food would be nice. Have a better day than me tomorrow 2 comments to Picture(s) A Day – 21 July 2009 |

Sorry your not feeling well.
Nice pics. In 1989 at the Abbotsford BC International Airshow, I got to see a Mig 29 do it’s thing. They brought two of them over. One a standard fighter and the other a two seat trainer/conversion airplane. It was impressive, especially the cobra move. I took my boys.
It was a day trip from Whidbey Island and we even packed a lunch.
Thanks for the well wishes there, Glenn
You’re lucky you got to see a Fulcrum fly – that’s rather rare on this side of the pond
Gotta love good memories with the family
