Nutnfancy – Adventure Xooter – Gotta Get One!I just learned about another cool thing I might just have to purchase. Via Nutnfancy, I found out about Xootr (pronounced “Zooter”). Yep, it’s a kick scooter. But it’s not a toy. It’s compact, easy to transport, and was designed for adults by a group of people who normally design race cars. The part I’m interested in is the compact nature of the Xootr. OK, so I’m also attracted by the exercise potential. I’m thinking that if an average speed is 10 MPH to 12 MPH, it wouldn’t take too long to get to my place of employment which is only about 2 miles from home Aside from saving gas and money on my commute, I think a Xootr might just open up some travel possibilities for me. I know some of you out there are a bit confused, so I’ll explain Two of the problems I have with travel are time and cost. Time is a factor because I’d much rather drive to get to where I’m going because I want to have a means of independent transportation when I get there. Driving from Vegas to San Diego is five hours and LA is three hours away. Flying to those destinations takes about an hour, not counting security etc. The trouble with flying somewhere is finding independent transportation that’s affordable. Sure, there are buses etc., but those don’t go wherever I want whenever I want to go and they cost per trip. How about taxi cabs? Have you seen the price of cab fare lately Xootr makes sense for travel. I don’t know if it’s small enough to take as a carry on, but it’s not over size Another great advantage of the Xootr’s small size is that you can take a bus part way to your destination with your Xootr on your lap. Here’s Nutnfancy’s video on the subject. It just makes sense. This looks like a pretty good idea. I would love to get out of Vegas every once in a while and I would really like it if I didn’t have to drive five or more hours to get there. Now, what to sell to get the $$$ together… 2 comments to Nutnfancy – Adventure Xooter – Gotta Get One! |

Obviously the lack of food and fever went to your head.
A scooter? No.
This is like when people tell me, oh, yeah, you can walk down here, around the corner, across the street — NO. No.
No problem with the treadmill at home (nonmotorized, thank you) but traipsing all over the place — no. And then “riding” or whatever term you want to use on that? No.
Kath,
I still like the idea. I definitely need the exercise if nothing else
This just gets me out and about rather than staying the apartment all the time
Oh yeah – the term is xootring
