Hello Kitty AR-15 – evil black rifle meets cute and cuddly

Well, in the “spirit” of the California Assault Weapon Ban I decided to do my best to alleviate the fears of my fellow citizens and gun-banning legislators when I put together a new AR-15 for my wife. Below is the result of my painstaking work to transform an Evil Black Rifle (EBR) into a Cute Pink RIfle (CPR). Introducing the Hello Kitty AR-15!

Some loyal readers might remember the Hello Kitty AK-47 that I blogged about before, but this one’s not just a fantasy – it was really built !!! You simply must read the original post !!!

I don’t see the author’s name, but the blog is part of riflegear.com which is an online retailer. I’m glad I don’t live in the Peoples’ Republic of California anymore, but riflegear.com has some pretty cool stuff for those who choose to remain there and who still wish to own a nice firearm that still has the functionality they want.

There’s no price for the finished firearm as this outfit doesn’t sell completed weapons, but something tells me that they’d be more than happy to help you out if you wanted to make one of your own

I can think of at least one person, possibly two, who I know would just love to own one of these Hello Kitty rifles Oh yeah, I’d love to send one to Feinstein as a gift, too !

Hey Parrothead… Glad you like this stuff! I just recently moved from Alaska to the Vegas area. I do this sort of work! I haven’t yet gotten my FFL transfered, but I have nearly got my garage cleaned out of boxes enough to get set up to do custom paint jobs on weapons. I use an airbrush and DuraCoat also. E-mail me directly and I can send you some pics of a few of my jobs.
I’m really trying to solicit work here… but contact with “Gun Guys” in the Vegas area! I’m in Henderson.

OMG….I think even Tank Girl would gag. I mean really…could you imagine using that thing in combat or even holding up a bank??? I see Iranian, Al Queda, and Afgan soldiers laughing their heads off….and bank tellers with big huge ? across their faces. Next thing they’ll suggest is battalions of cheerleaders in bobby socks and dog-ear ponytails.

Nic – Yes, it was really built and I saw the site (http://www.riflegear.com) did work. I got a configuration error when I tried it just now, so it looks like a server issue
