Picture A Day – 8 September 2009
So, I’m starting to get myself prepared for possible nightmare scenarios which I hope never hope come to pass. Hey, don’t laugh – an extended power outage is nothing to sneeze at and what if the water stops flowing? Yeah, not fun. I ended up at Wal Mart yesterday and picked up some cup of noodles, a gallon of water (there’s more bottles in the cooler), canned food, a flint/magnesium fire starter, a good quality, long lasting spork, a single burner propane stove which attaches directly to a small propane cylinder, and a single mantle, subcompact propane lantern. I’ve already got a sleeping bag, tent, and a chair, so I should be good for a while. And I’ve also got a few guns One other thing I just remembered – I also have an inverter Here’s hoping I only use these things for fun and familiarization Have fun and get prepared 6 comments to Picture A Day – 8 September 2009 |

And the food for Ziva, where’s that?
And my little eyes spy a basketball in there, too!!
Well, Ziva would likely be just fine – she can go for 2 weeks without food without a real problem
The problem would be finding a way to keep her food either alive or frozen – and I only feed frozen/thawed.
That basketball needs a bit of a boost in air pressure, but it’s in my car because I’ve never taken it out after it was given to me by the top sales guy at Ed Bozarth Chevrolet
I also figure there may come a time when a bit of a diversion would be welcome

Oh, that’s right, that was your free basketball. Hey, yeah, always time for a pick-up game.
