Moonlight – New Favorite TV Show

I must say that I have a new favorite TV show – Moonlight (Wikipedia) (CBS official site)

Moonlight is an American supernatural television drama created by Ron Koslow and Trevor Munson, who also serve as executive producers alongside Joel Silver, Gerard Bocaccio and Rod Holcomb. The show is a paranormal romance series that follows a private investigator, Mick St. John (Alex O’Loughlin), whose bride, Coraline (Shannyn Sossamon), turned him into a vampire on the couple’s wedding night 55 years prior; he struggles in the present day with his love for a mortal woman, Beth Turner (Sophia Myles), and his dealings with other vampires in the city.

So why do I like it? I like the story line, the concept (I’ve always liked vampire stories), and the episodes are entertaining, well thought out, and keep you wanting more. Of course, Beth and Coralyn aren’t bad to look at, either

I highly recommend watching, but don’t just listen to me – Moonlight just won the 2008 People’s Choice Award for Favorite New TV Drama !

BOYCOTT HOLLYWOOD FOR THEIR TREATMENT OF WRITERS AND CONTENT PROVIDERS. THE WGA STRIKE SHOULDN’T HAVE LASTED THIS LONG. IT’S NO LONGER AN ISSUE OF FAIRNESS, BUT OF MORAL DECAY AND ABUSE OF THE MIDDLE CLASS.

I personally have different views on this. I think the writers should be compensated when their material is played online as they do when it’s replayed on TV.

Moral decay and abuse of the middle class? Not in my opinion. It’s profit, bottom line, and pure business just like in any other business.
