That said, it especially goes out to my roommate Cindy.

Cindy has been there for me through some tough times and I’m trying to return the favor as best I can. Her dad’s been in the hospital for the past six months following bypass surgery and we’ve just got word tonight that he’s taken another negative turn in his recovery. She’s at the hospital with her mother and sister, but I don’t think they’ll be able to visit much due to the restrictions of ICU and all. I’m here at home with dinner waiting and a small Valentine’s present that I would have gotten earlier, but was a bit too poor at the time. Right now I know she’s doing her best to hold her mom together and I’ll be here to hold her together when she gets home in just a little bit. Please pray with me for her dad, her family, and her.

I was going to make a Valentine’s card on the computer, but I’ve lost the printer drivers and they take too long to download here on dial-up, so I figured a blog post was the next best thing.

Cindy, it’s been a tough road at times. Thank you for everything! I’m pulling for you and yours and I know my family and readers will be pulling for you all, too.
