Well, If You Want To Talk About Fall!

It is so much cooler this morning, almost — just almost — crisp, but not quite. We’re getting there.

These are pictures of my backyard. You can see everything is still green, but trust me, it won’t be for long. See the one tree behind the tall pine that’s already started to change? And some of the others have just started, too.

Fall and Flowers 017

This is my absolute favorite time of the year, just warm enough in the days and then just cool enough in the evenings. Tons of stars in the heavens and all’s right with the world.

Looks like a nice place ya got there, Kath. We should be getting our autumn changes later this week. The thermometer now says fall! It dropped from the mid sixties about midnite to 51 at 0800. It is 63 right now and the low for tonite is to be around 46!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Kath – GREAT job with the pictures :D !!!

I’ve visited places like that, but never lived there. It’s always been chaparral, coastline, or straight-up high desert for me.

But it does look absolutely GORGEOUS :)

You have to like trees to live here. Keeps me happy.

I mean, happy UNTIL — when yuo have to get the rake out and rake up all the lovely leaves.

And no open burning — that sucks. I mean, I undertand the safety issue, but to smell leaves you’ve raked up burning in the fall is heaven.

That’s what the grandkids are for!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But you do have to keep building the piles over and over.
