Picture(s) A Day – 16 October 2009

I can live without another week like this one.  Burnt out doesn’t even begin to describe my head right now, let alone the empty/heavy feeling of exhaustion from lack of sleep.  No, I can’t just walk out the door when I leave work and leave the stress behind.  Normally it doesn’t really affect me.  It did today and yesterday for reasons I won’t publish in the open.  I want to keep the job I currently have.

I’m really not used to leaving work after the sun’s gone down, but it allowed me to try something different with my digital camera.  The top picture is a five second exposure and the bottom picture is 15 seconds.  I’m not quite sure which I like better.  The five second picture looks closer to how I remember the scene, but the 15 second picture shows off the glow above the hills nicely.

Well, there’s another day in the books and I’m just looking forward to getting some necessary stuff out of the way and having some fun tomorrow.

Take care, everyone, and get some rest!  I’m sure we all need it 8)

That is such feeling, isn’t it, to walk out to the parking lot and it’s like — HEY, where did everybody go??? But the view of those mountains is so gorgeous.

And even tho you’re worn out from dealing with the whiny, demanding, cranky public — well, I WAS going to say all the good things about your job, but you already know them. And there’s not a lot I can do about thw whiny, demanding, cranky public except hope that at least ONE a day is a charming, happy person that tells you thank you a LOT!

Working a lot on the weekends means my car is the only one in the parking lot, all by its lonesome. I’ll have to take a picture for one of my “frequent” posts. ;)

    • Thanks for the compliment, Kath!

Actually, I have received a couple of emails from customers and account managers thanking me for my work 8) Still, it’s just a long, stressful day no matter how you cut it

Please do post a pic of your car! If you want the license plate fuzzed, just email it to me and I’ll handle that for you :)
