It has the American Airlines facility and is a huge FedEx point. There are alot of purple and white heavies in and out plus all the high rollers in their jets. And when the Indy car and Nascar events are up the road, it is a really busy place. The Indy Car event is the Bombardier Learjet 500. Hmmmm? Learjet? Oh yeah! I used to work there. But the perspective is very different when viewed from the cab of an old SD40-2 locomotive hooked to a ballast train. You get to see airplanes with stands and support equipment attached and panels off and engines exposed. At Fort Worth Alliance Airport, one can see some neat airplanes.
