Not to worry! I tried to do my best. Some crude, some cool and some revisiting the past.
Roger that – I saw ‘em
Muchas gracias, amigo
BTW whatever is going around, just showed up at our house. Itchy eyes, throat, headache, tightness in all the extremities. Got lots of Orchard brand Apple, Apple-Cranberry and Apple-Cherry. And later on it is NyQuil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And they were just AWFUL, too!!
Psych. Gotcha, Glenn!
Personally, last week and this week kinda sucked, to put it in nice language. Must be those meteor showers last night!
What-ev-er.
The one with two of the ships I served aboard in such condition at Bremerton was in a way, awful from a certain perspective. It is sad to see them at the end in such condition.
Oh, and I meant to nag, too, you get sick when you’re all tired bec. you don’t eat right.
I can be all stern and say that bec. I was really good today and passed up the big bag of fries from Five Guys — which are soooooooo good. Amazingly good. Excellent, even. (Can’t believe I didn’t get any of those. Damn.)
Yeah, I know I should eat a bit better, but there’s also something to be said about work…
Glenn, I was kidding you that the posts were bad — they were wonderful, the pictures were great!
And don’t go getting sick now! Drink some tea, of course, with some nice toast. (And fall asleep watching baseball.)
The pictures weren’t bad. It is because those vessels were such a large part of my life. It is a thing with those of us “who go down to the sea in ships, they know the works of the Lord in the wonders of the Deep” Psalm 107, v 23 and 24. Or something like that. Didn’t know it was in there did ya? And I wear a pewter Star of David on a dog tag chain, still. And I haven’t been in a synagogue in over thirty years. It’s hard to explain. Bear with me on this one, Kath.
