Picture(s) A Day – 18, 19, & 21 October – Catching Up

I’m back!  Yeah, I was a bit down, a bit tired, and a bit not so well the past couple of days.  I’m getting better

Today’s only post will be catching up on a few days worth of pics.  Then sleep.  Gotta go face the dragon again at work tomorrow, don’t chu know (Buffett reference)

18 October 2009 - Coming Home

I didn’t do very much at all on Sunday, but I did go out for a bit and managed to capture this wonderful image of the entrance to my apartment community

Yeah, I kinda like the gates and palm trees 8)  They give it that “it sure is nice to be home” feel

19 October 2009 - Morning cloud shadow

Heading into work on Monday morning I noticed that there were just a few clouds in the sky.  They were all big and not very thick.  Then I noticed this ahead of me while going west on Smoke Ranch.  I’ve always been a sucker for cloud shadows like this one

21 October 2009 - Sunset on the mountains and Old Glory

Last, but not least is tonight’s sunset as seen from West Lake Mead Boulevard looking to the west.  It was pretty windy out which made Old Glory stand out so well against the sky 8)  We’re all suckers for sunsets and American Flags here, right ?

I’m off to sleep some.  After all, I do need to continue gainful employment if I’m to have any fun at all with my toys out in the desert
