Here it is everybody! My loveable self at the son’s wedding two days prior to my surgery. And yes I was enjoying the fine Belgian at the bar!

  • Thanks, Glenn :D !!! You look great there :)

I don’t know why, but I always pictured a beard

The People’s Republik of Kalifornia has no idea what it’s in for

I started the evening in a jacket and tie! When the music and garter toss started I asked the daughter-in-law if it was time to get more casual. She said go for it!
Somewhere I have one on the facebook that has me in the full regalia. When I get around to it, I will post it here and over at Old Retired Petty Officer.
And as much as I have tried, no beard. The bloodline isn’t condusive to large amounts of facial hair, even with all that Norwegian I have flowing through my veins. The Objibwa from the other side didn’t help either.
Could the Viking in me be the reason I am so vocal about stupidity in DC? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm?

One of these days I will scan the last portrait I had taken in my blues. It is in a frame from a proof that was taken on USS George Washington in October of 1992. The very last time that I went to sea! It is displayed prominently over my shadow box in my living room. It may be after the move so bear with me on that one.
