Really, My Head Very Well Could ExplodeI just had a caller state that he’d come back from vacation and found phone wires strung all over the place. He further stated that his provider (not my employer) had told him to call AT&T. I don’t work for AT&T. He further stated that he could not find AT&T in the phone book, so he called my company which is neither AT&T nor his provider. He knew this when he called, but he thought we would have the consumer number for AT&T. When I told him I couldn’t give him the number because I didn’t have it either, he said that if he couldn’t find the number, he was going to call 911 Of course, I told him I’d advise against that and that I didn’t have the consumer number for AT&T, but that my best advice would be to call his provider back for the AT&T consumer number. And these people are allowed drivers licenses and can VOTE !!! 1 comment to Really, My Head Very Well Could Explode |

Can’t say the details of it, but YES, people are THAT F-ING STUPID to call here and ask us for all kinds of numbers.
Be kind of like calling the Sheriff’s Dept. to ask for the number to an insurance company. Rather frustrating. And I love it when they say, “You mean you DON’T have the number??” All huffy and indignant.
