Picture(s) A Day – 10 October 2009

Work went pretty darn well today.  I’m feeling quite a bit better today, though I can’t quite figure out why.  Sleep’s been a problem off and on and last night was no different.  Maybe it was the caffeine, but I seemed to be doing rather well and the calls weren’t all that bad :)

Fall is finally making its presence known in the desert in a real way.  It’s been cooler and we’ve even had clouds

10 November 2009 - I might wash it sometime...

One of these days I may very well go ahead and wash my car.  The problem with that is that I seem to wind up on some desert road/path on a weekly basis which deposits about this much dirt if not more.  And washing the car costs about as much as 50 rounds of 12 gauge ammo or 500 rounds of .22…

Remember when I said it’s been cooler out lately?  After a summer spent largely above 95° or 100°, 75° feels pretty darn cool.  I’m not kidding when I tell you that most people have started wearing sweaters :)

Even when it’s overcast over you, you can sometimes see the edges of the clouds and the clear sky if you look :)   Yeah, it’s a bit of goofy Parrothead Jeff philosophy that I was able to back up with a picture, but I still like it 8)

Stay safe and warm out there
