Otherwise it is a Stater Brothers in Mojave. Walmart trips are planned as the easiest one to get to is in Palmdale off the 14 Freeway at 10th St. W. It is about an hour to there. Down near Twentynine Stumps(Palms) and Palm Springs is the Joshua Tree National Monument or Park. I don't remember which at present. Outside of Cal City is the Desert Tortoise Preserve. I will get there on a weekend to get some pictures after the Missus gets here with the rest of our stuff. She has never seen one.
