At Least I Made It In To Work Today!Last night and this morning found yours truly in less than optimal condition. Seriously, I was in no way in any kind of shape to leave the apartment, let alone drive a car or work. I was seriously not feeling good at all. And no, it was not due to drinking After two hours of not showing up, you’re considered absent regardless of whether or not you show up later. I still came in anyway. I was feeling better and my coworkers work hard enough without me gone Catch y’all later 6 comments to At Least I Made It In To Work Today! |

Bummer. Something going around, not enough to put me down, but not feeling up to snuff, either. Trying SO hard not to whine…most of the time, anyway.
Yeah, it’s not just you and me out there, KC. Hope you feel better soon
All I have is a pain in the butt from forms class. AF Aircraft maintenance paperwork is about as sensible as a Chinese Fire Drill. The Instructor was referring to Tech School stuff. Hmmmmmmmm. Navy Airdale in a AF maint paperwork class. Lost in the Ozone. Dear Lord, I hope NavAir has openings at China Lake, Point Mugu, even El Centro. and dare I say, Yuma?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I cannot even give the last week plus the dignity of the description of idiot locker. Refer to Clint Eastwood in Heartbreak Ridge…………..Cluster****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have prety toys and cool digs but give me a PO1/USMC SSGT and hard charging Lance Corporals/Airmen(green-stripes) any day.
In a way it reminds me of the USS George Washington when I was aboard for the Shake-Down after commissioning. Before being commissioned a ship is always as a PCU/Pre-Commissioning Unit. They are hand picked crews. Yeah, Right. The AAFTC gang that is the 412AMU ranks right up there with them. As in, I have never seen so many dummies in one place at one time in my life.I know you like those blue suit zoomies, Jeff, but as for me……………….the jury is still out.
Hang in there, Glenn
I’m sure things will settle down and you’ll find yourself at home. Just be glad you don’t have to deal with the commuters on the 15, 163, 5, and 78 every day
Just have a cold that will NOT go away!!! My people at work WANT me to stay home bec. they’re tired of hearing me cough, cough, cough…. and I’m off in my own office even.
Jeff, your job seems to have an AWFUL lot of rules. But, hey, we have jobs so must not complain, right??
And,Glenn, you know you’re happy as a clam working!! ;)
