Robin Olds InterviewRobin Olds was a fighter ace who fought in WWII and Vietnam. With thirteen victories in WWII and four in Vietnam, Robin Olds was a damn good fighter pilot. He was a legend in the Air Force. Sadly, Robin Olds passed away in 2007. He is buried at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. I found this video interview on YouTube and figured I’d share it with everyone out there. We have fewer men to tell the history first hand as time goes on and it’s lucky for us that we have this record. We can always use more men like Robin Olds. Great stuff! Can’t remember when I enjoyed any video so much. Robin Olds is a hero of mine. Reminds me of my dad. I have almost finished Fighter Pilot and is a must read for any USAF member, retired or active duty. I was stationed at Ubon (8 TFW) from 1971 to 1972.
