Picture(s) A Day – 22 & 23 November 2009 – Playing Catch-UpFolks, I’m gonna keep this one short. Today didn’t go too bad at work, but I feel like I’m still recovering from the weekend which 1) is my own damn fault and 2) was worth it I only took a couple pictures while we were out shooting on Sunday. I wanted to focus more on the shooting than I did on the photography. I’ll have more pics next time, but I hope you like this one for now Once again, it was time to feed Ziva and I needed to get her dinner from Exotic Pets I tried to get a couple of pics of the cute and cuddly types for Kath, but they have a lot more of the others Anywho, it’s time to get some sleep. Have a great Tuesday everyone 4 comments to Picture(s) A Day – 22 & 23 November 2009 – Playing Catch-Up |

I like the first picture. It was quite easy to slide past the others. Yeah, scorpions, Jeff, uh-huh. great idea.
At least there’s one picture you liked
As for the scorpions, Emperor Scorpions are very non-aggressive, very large, have a mild sting (they rarely sting anyway), and I can fit three or so in my 20 gallon aquarium
To paraphrase Rubius Hagrid in Harry Potter, Seriously misunderstood creatures, scorpions
1. At least you do remember to take your camera!
2.Scorpions are easily dispatched with substantial foot wear. And a Mossberg Snake Charmer doesn’t hurt either. I have killed many in the past. My first wife was from the Four Corners area, Farmington and Aztec, NM to be exact. Scorpions were “normal” And now, I live in the Mojave Desert.
The HS teams in Farmington are the Scorpions, VAQ-132 at NAS Whidbey Island……..Scorpions. Hair Band from Germany…….Winds of Change, Send Me an Angel…….
Treat them with respect. The Missus still isn’t sure of that………..yet.
Yep, that camera goes everywhere with me
OK, I may not be able to take it with me to the nuclear test site when I finally go on the DOE tour, but I’ll sacrifice the photography for National Security
The only scorpion I’ve had dealings with was a very small bark scorpion. They’re not native to Nevada – they came in on imported palm trees. They’re straw colored and this one scared the Sierra out of me by crawling on my arm
I think it’s what stung Cindy and gave her a bit of a reaction to its venom a couple of years ago.
And yes, the band from Deutchland ROCKS
!!! I got to see them in a double concert with Alice Cooper many years ago
