All put on a pretty good show, but I've got to say that I'm a bit jealous that you've seen all those teams in all those different types of aircraft 8) So far, I’ve seen the Blues in Skyhawks and Hornets, the T-Birds in T-38s (I was very young and don’t remember too much of it) and F-16s, and the Snowbirds in their trainers. I've also seen the Blues on a number of occasions, the last being when they did Fleet Week in SFO back in 2001 or '02. I happened to be on the water in the Bay when they were practicing for the show and my friends and I (it was a corporate party occasion) were treated to multiple LOW passes by those Hornettes. Quite the show, that was. :) Other nations have great aerial teams as well... and I'm lucky enough to have seen the Snowbirds (RCAF), the Red Arrows (RAF) and teams from Japan, Taiwan, Italy, France... the list goes on and on. I gotta mention that when I saw the Thunder Tigers (Taiwan) and Blue Impulse (JASDF) they were in F-86s, which is about the BEST airframe for a show there ever was. The 'Birds are my first love, however. kc: I was still on active duty when the 'Birds flew into the ground at Nellis. That was a black day. (Your link gets a 404, btw.)
