Yep, you guessed it — oh, you didn’t? Ok, think about it for a minute, I’ll wait …… Got it now?

Geez, people, it’s Jeff’s BIRTHDAY!!!! (Get it? It’s an airplane cake pan!!)

Yes, the really wild party starts later tonight. Those peple at the Hilton better watch out!

So all y’all feel free to leave all the nice comments you want, because he definitely deserves all the nice things we can say.

(And, of course, we’ll skip over the part where he forgot my birthday. Sigh.)

So, Jeff the Parrothead, here’s hoping you have all good Jimmy Buffet moments for your birthday this year. And know that next year will be even better. Right? Of course it will!!

Thank you very much, Kath !!!

Yes, I’m starting to feel old at times, especially around work. I’m more than a decade older than some of my coworkers And when I talk about music it gets really bad. These people haven’t heard of The Kingston Trio, Jan and Dean, Dick Dale and the Del Tones, The Mommas and the Papas, The Lettermen, The Smothers Brothers, or even Pat Boone?!?! I grew up going to their concerts at the Wild Animal Park! And what’s up with not knowing who Santana, Joe Satriani, Alice Cooper, or even Mick Jagger are?!!?!?!!!11!!1

But it’s all good – I’ve got a growing circle of great friends and dinner’s going to be at Rum Jungle tonight

Thanks again to Kath for remembering my birthday and posting this and thanks also go out to Glenn, Buck, KC, SwampWoman, and all the rest of the people around this blog who make doing it worth while

And the airplane cake pan I really felt was a complete stroke of genius, of course that did was such an obvious clue!!

And I’ll say no to Pat Boone, but yes to Dean Martin; no to Jan & Dean and yes to Archie Bell & the Drells!!!

At my last gig before I retired I was officially The Oldest Person In The Company. It ain’t easy being an old gray head in a small technology start-up, lemmee tell ya. My KIDS were older than most of “senior management” and ALL of our engineering staff. That experience was interesting, to say the very least…

Thanks again, everyone I had a great birthday and there will be a post up about it We did lots of cool stuff, I got some cool presents, and I also got some very welcome calls from friends and relatives as well
