OK, on we go with part two, still at the Imperial Palace
Thanks for sticking with me here – there’s just so much to post

This is pretty close to the car portrayed in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and I can’t get enough of that shape

We really did have a very good time at the Imperial Palace, even after we’d wiped up the drool and finally stopped scheming about just how to get a couple of these wonderful cars
Another place we usually visit is the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. I think it’s the only place with curving escalators

1 December 2009 - The famous fountains at Caesars Palace
We passed by the famous fountains outside of Caesars Palace on our way down to Paris for dinner and I realized that I’d never even gotten a picture of them. Come to think of it, this is the first time there hasn’t been construction going on here

1 December 2009 - Only in Vegas have I ever seen anything like this!
I’ll close this post with a picture of something else you’re unlikely to see many places
I guess you can eat pretty well if you’ve got a bit of skill here – they’ll even cook it for free if you win one of these lobsters
So that’s it for my birthday and I have to say it was a pretty darn good day
Have fun out there everyone
The prices on the cars that are for sale are literally breathtaking. Those pics also make me wish I had kept a couple of the cars I’ve owned in the past, as well. (sigh)
Great stuff, Jeff.
Thanks, Buck
Mom, Dad, and my brother have all gone there with me at different times and they say the same things
Definitely I could get lost for the day (or so)at the Forum Shops!!
And to see those cars makes you realize how someone could become a collector. What fun! (Well, actually maybe WANT to become a collector.)
Oh, it’s easy to get lost in the Forum Shops
It’s a really huge place with so much stuff you just don’t see anywhere else that you find yourself drawn to a different store every few feet
You (and I) don’t want to know what the total cost would be for all the cars I want in there – it’s probably an eight figure number
