Picture A Day – 4 December 2009

4 December 2009 - It's getting freaking COLD out there

4 December 2009 - It's getting freaking COLD out there

Yes, I’m a bit late on this one, but better late than never right  ?

Remember back in summer when I posted pics of the outside temp gauge in my car reading over 100°?  Well, it’s going the other way now.  35° isn’t bad for Buck in Portales, NM or Cindy near Price, UT, but it’s darn cold for Las Vegas.  It’s going to warm up a bit, but I’m pretty sure it’ll be quite a bit colder in the near future as well.  I’ve seen the temp on the news get down to 16° before.  Now if I can only get it to drop about three feet of snow in a night so I can’t make it into work… :P

Have a great day and keep warm everyone

Soon as I can find the cord that goes from camera to laptop, I can download yesterday’s SNOW pictures!

This morning it’s a clear, clear sky with a zillion stars and the moon shining!! Yes, at least that’s what I saw as I scooted to the end of the driveway to get the paper! It’s COLD!!!!

But the snow is perfect, none on the roads or walkway, just clumped on grass and trees. :)

Heh. I’ve never seen three feet overnight, but I have seen seen four foot drifts. But now that I think about it… we might have gotten three feet that night… :)

    Thanks for the link, Jeff!

  • “seen seen” = we REALLY saw it!

  • Kath, I know I have it easy  Still, I can’t help but think that it sounds like it would be fun for a day or two :P

Buck, no problemo on the link and I can only dream of something like that happening this winter
