Just A Little Snow
The kind of snow you hated when you were a kid because it snowed most of the day and is all over the trees and bushes, but is too wet to amount to anything. The kind of snow I like, though, because it’s not on the roads or streets, it melted off my car and it mostly just looks pretty! But the best part is no shoveling at all!! It’s still pretty cold today, still, a lot melted in the sun, but it’s going to freeze again tonight. Brrrrrr!!  4 comments to Just A Little Snow |

The kind of snow I like, though, because it’s not on the roads or streets…
Me, too. The first snowfall of the season was always exciting when I lived Up Nawth… and we ALWAYS went out and played in it. But by the end of February I was ready to kill something, anything. That was the signal for the annual “go someplace warm and lay on the beach” getaway!
As far as I’m concerned, this could be it for the whole winter, FINE with me. Don’t need anymore of it!
I keep hearing about shoveling snow or having the roads plowed, but I’ve never had to deal with it as the only two places I’ve ever lived have been San Diego and Las Vegas. Still, I can’t help but think that it looks pretty and I think it would be fun to go for a ride in a one horse open sleigh
Nice Winter you’re having there, Kath. And as Buck says, up north, eh, one could get tired of it. But then again, we had frozen ponds to play on, eh!
It was -13 in my home town this morning just before I left the house at 0545 Pacific time.
