Picture(s) A Day – 6 November 2009Keeping with my theme of limited travel for the sake of photography, these two pictures were taken from my balcony
OK, there may not be all that much fall color, but at least most of the trees are changing around here Yeah, I think this is a pretty decent place. The complex is kept nice, the weather doesn’t get too cold too often, and I have a bit of a view from my balcony. I’d like to have a view like I used to back in Poway or San Diego, but I can live with this for now Have a great day everyone 8 comments to Picture(s) A Day – 6 November 2009 |

Oh, those trees do look pretty. That’s a lot of fall color!
Thanks, Kath
You have a whole helluva lot more color than we get on The High Plains of New Mexico. But ya need actual TREES to get that sorta thang, right? ;)
Yep, the trees sure do help
Do you have Ocotillo plants out there? I imagine those are nice in the spring time
We have trees in the Valley. All imported. The two houses behind me have elms shedding leaves right now. At least I think they are elms.
We got Joshua Trees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Speaking of Joshua trees, I think I’ll have to wait until next year but I’ve got a fun idea. I think I’m going to set up a strand of lights or two powered by a battery on a Joshua tree in the absolute middle of nowhere for some photography
That would be so cool! In the absolute middle of that nowhere me, Buck and kc talk about!
Yep, I’m thinking maybe I’ll do it out somewhere just off of Groom Lake Road which should give a few people something to laugh about on secure comm links while they watch over some desert secrets in the cold
