I'm gainfully unemployed, too, I guess - one 2yo today is 'easier' than 3 of 'em yesterday, but that just means I have other chores to do - and I made enchilada casserole and banana pudding, too!

Hang in there, Jeff. We all hit a rough patch every once in a while. My favorite saying is "This too shall pass." Which, of course works for ME... and mebbe not everyone.

kc and Kath: I'm gainfully UN-employed and am loving every single second of it. But I hear what all y'all are saying and was a firm subscriber to your POVs, once upon a time. ;)

Kath, there's work on the house that needs to be done - I want new kitchen flooring, the fence has gone the way of 25yo fences, I'd like to get rid of the 'vinyl' siding and put shingles on those parts of the house...and the inside needs paint again.

As I said - *sigh* - small payraise for the ol man, more diligence on my part at food-shopping (AFTER Christmas) - time just takes time, and 22 years as a Navy Wife didn't necessarily teach me inner patience! 8D

KC, you're working -- unless you're sitting on the couch eating bon-bons and watching soap operas!!

If you're Mary Sunshine, I'm Suzy Sunshine. Oh, we could be TWINS!!

I absolutely LOVE my job, and am ever so thankful for it AND the money. But, yeah, the bad part is I actually have to work to get it!!

But Jeff and I are in the same boat with not being able to always plan things for when you want to -- hey, that's life, right? But that part DOES get aggravating at times.

So, like everything else, bad with the good -- or vice versa!!
