The fishwrap from Lancaster says it may get down to about 7 degrees in the Tehachapi Mountains tonight. I find it amusing to see some of the locals with the "globull warming thing" going on. I do live in the land of fruits and nuts after all. Some of them look like Nanook of the North. Two of my kids and six of my grandkids are in for a winter blast, though. Kansas is about to get another hard shot of winter! Can't say I miss it unless the ponds freeze to a depth of eight inches! Then it is time for pond hockey! And when you are on the ice, going up and down, chasing, stick handling, checking and falling on your can, you don't feel it, even at 20 below zero.
