I think I’ve figured out what my problem is. I keep thinking this is America with a First Amendment that actually means something. I keep forgetting that California has already seceded from the Union – they just haven’t made a fuss about it. From Fox 40 in Sacramento, CA: School Makes Boy Take American Flag [...] This is a re-post from quite a while back, but I thought some newer readers might get a kick out of it I saw this one over on The Smallest Minority who got it from Theo Spark and just about died laughing I have no idea why they see me this way, really I don’t. [...] Borrowed from a Face Book Friend. Gives one cause to ponder, does it not? Railroad tracks. The US standard railroad gauge (distance between the rails) is 4 feet, 8.5 inches. That’s an exceedingly odd number. Why was that gauge used? Because that’s the way they built them in England, and English expatriates designed the US [...] Jeff is on vacation. Nevada has low taxes, but that’s because the legislature here spells “tax” different most places – they spell it “fee” hoping most don’t see the truth. The [...] I’ve read from several sources in the federal government recently that the border is “as safe as it ever was” whatever that’s supposed to mean. What many people don’t seem to understand or care about is that there’s a whole lot of land and not that many law enforcement officers to guard it. People who [...] From El Seminario in Nogales, Mexico: NOGALES, May 25, 2010 .- To reverse the effects of SB-1070, legislators in Mexico and the U.S. (EU) have agreed to submit an appeal to the Interamerican Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), since this initiative criminalises migration with racial profiling in the state of Arizona. Amanda Aguirre, state Sen. [...] |
