I came across an article over on Military.com and thought it should be shared as widely as possible. It seems that Congress had a decent thought for a change and has directed the USAF to delay the retirement of its U-2 reconnaissance jets for a while longer. They’re still great jets with over 100 projected [...] I said I’d knock out this post and I meant it There’s a whole bunch of pictures, so I hope it’s not too long for everyone Monday started with a trip up to Carrol Shelby’s place in the hopes of a meal in his diner. Sadly, it’s been closed for a few months even [...] Yeah, I should’ve done a bit of photography today. I screwed up and I know it’s my own damn fault. I should be back to my normal posting now, starting with this . One of the Road Runners who spoke at the reunion was Brigadier General (retired) Dennis Sullivan. Gen. Sullivan is one of [...] My apologies for the slow posting of late. I have been working on a series of posts which are taking much more time than I had thought along with attending a reunion for a group of guys of which I am an associate member. I’ve been having a great time and I appreciate your patience [...] Here we go again. Anyone else remember the years before the F-117 Nighthawk was publicly revealed? I do. There were “fly-bys ” at all the airshows I went to by the then rumored “stealth fighter” where the sound of a jet flying by was played over the public address system while nothing was visible. I [...] |
