OK, so it’s taken a while for me to get this post up. Yes, I’ve been a bit of a slacker, but that’s not the only reason. The rest of the story is that there are just so many pictures. We left Price, UT at about 0900 on Thursday and got back at 0100 on [...] Day two of the trip didn’t start too early, but we still had quite a bit of adventure Two things you’ll find in abundance in Carbon County, UT are coal mines and railroads. This was a very quick pic taken with my cellphone because I thought Glenn would like it Cindy’s grandma may be 90 [...] More reports/pictures coming in from the road. Jeff will have more interesting things to say about the “mining” pictures, I’m sure. Of course, I just love seeing the open sky and the scenery. Altho, I told him I might have a bit of “reverse claustrophobia” out there. Seems awfully empty. But I know that’s what [...] Pictures keep coming in from the road!! Our Traveler says this is the Wedge Overlook at the San Rafael Swell. How neat is this? A desert waterfall! And into every life a little rain must fall! (I can only watch a little at a time bec. they INSIST on going into these weensy little chambers [...] Kath is on vacation. She asked me to post these from the above undisclosed location. Cactus got toes?!?!?!?!?!? I swiped this from a Face Book Friend. Lori, from Waxahachie, Texas. Been there. More than once. Ballast Trains. She had this up on her wall at FB. It was too cool to pass up! I did ask her for permission, OK! She said she swiped it herself. Texas girls, gotta love ‘em! It is what it is. This is 38 years ago. Not funny. I was the first male member of my family on my Dad’s side to formally graduate from high school. And no, I did not have to shave! The Missus. Pat, Brian, Me, The CO(I don’t remember his name) Amanda in front. In the [...] We said farewell to Rod at Falcon Maintenance on Friday evening at Coach’s in Rosamond. The sort of official watering hole for all at Edwards AFB. The Missus made a cake just for Rod. It blew him away. He was constantly thanking her. A good time had by all. We shall miss Rod but know [...] |
