OK, last catch-up post before I go out for a ride I’d thought about going from Kristen’s place down to San Diego to spend Saturday night with other friends, but the forecast was for a very cold storm to come through southern California. I’d been cold enough on the trip down and lacking warm and [...]  Folks, it’s getting late and I’m getting a bit tired but I wanted to finally get this post published before I set off on another fun motorcycle trip of extended range Yes, I’m going to be back on the bike and heading for a distant destination on Thursday and I will be sure to [...] It’s been a while, but I’m still here In the past few weeks I’ve been working, riding, and taking pictures to post but it’s been busy as well. I’ve got to get moving today to get things ready for some good times after work this week and a special event on Wednesday, so I’m going [...] I know you’re probably a bit shocked at getting two posts in one day, but I figured I’d finish catching up Sunday was my day off for the weekend. Yes, I had to work Saturday but at least I only have to ride about 20 minutes to get to the fabulous Las Vegas Strip [...] I know I’m catching up again, but in my defense I think I might be coming down with something. I’m really not feeling well at all and I’ve been about three times as tired than I normally am. At least I’m getting the pictures posted within a few days of when they’re taken I’d had [...] Yes, I’ve gotten a bit of energy today if you hadn’t already noticed I don’t know what happened, but I’m sure as heck not gonna complain about it I got out of work today and figured I’d just go for a short ride out to the Red Rock Canyon Overlook which is only [...] It can take me an entire weekend or more to recover when a week at work goes completely bat guano crazy. This was one of those weekends. I wasn’t sleeping well and as a result didn’t really get much riding in. At least I managed to go out and have a decent dinner both nights [...] Saturday… Well, let’s just say that I was still somewhat recovering form the previous week at work and reveling in something that I forgot to mention in my last post. I don’t know if it was because I was completely mentally fried and still stressed out after a week of massive mandatory overtime, but I [...] See, I haven’t gone away for good I made the financial mistake of cruising through REI on the way home from a ride a few nights before this and ended up with an interesting new piece of photography kit.
