Ah, yes, the first day of the new year went pretty well all things considered. I worked (YEE HAW!!!) and got quite a bit of extra $$$ out of the deal which was pretty nice. Been a bit tired. And NCIS was on So, I’m starting to get myself prepared for possible nightmare scenarios which I hope never hope come to pass. Hey, don’t laugh – an extended power outage is nothing to sneeze at and what if the water stops flowing? Yeah, not fun. So I decided the other day to go ahead and get just a little prepared. I went to Wal Mart to pick up a single burner propane stove and some storable food and figured while I was buying the stove, it might just be a halfway decent idea to get a single mantle propane lantern [...] Today was busy at work and it didn’t let up after I left, either.
