Nope, I sure didn’t post much today. Been a bit tired. And NCIS was on But mostly just tired. There’s issues going on in the life of someone very close to me that I don’t necessarily want to air out over the entire gosh darned Internet, but which have me not sleeping quite so well. [...]  So, I’m starting to get myself prepared for possible nightmare scenarios which I hope never hope come to pass. Hey, don’t laugh – an extended power outage is nothing to sneeze at and what if the water stops flowing? Yeah, not fun. I ended up at Wal Mart yesterday and picked up some cup of [...] So I decided the other day to go ahead and get just a little prepared. I went to Wal Mart to pick up a single burner propane stove and some storable food and figured while I was buying the stove, it might just be a halfway decent idea to get a single mantle propane lantern [...] Today was busy at work and it didn’t let up after I left, either. Massive call volumes, cantankerous customers on the phones, and broken equipment was just the tip of the iceberg. I had to go to different banks during lunch and after work. I also had to pay the rent and go buy Ziva [...] So I was thinking again… No, no need to run to the fallout shelter – it’s not one of my “apocalyptic” thoughts Seriously, I’ve got some money coming my way and I was thinking that I might have a way to use some of that cash to save money in the long run.
