This just in from Cindy up in Utah – The weather’s great OK, so I’m the one who likes rain, hail, thunder, lightning, and snow. I get that. At least she sent a picture today It’s that time of year again – Halloween I haven’t been much of one for decorations or costumes in the last few years with financial priorities elsewhere. Maybe I should’ve gotten into the spirit more. Cindy’s never been one to let Halloween or Christmas pass without decorations This is at her grandma’s house [...] It’s taken a while, but I’ve finally gotten up the energy and gumption to finish the series of posts from my Utah vacation last month I had an absolutely awesome time up there and I have to say that I really didn’t want to come back. Yes, Vegas has the bright lights, great food, and [...] What a day this turned out to be! This was my last full day in Utah and there was one place I’d wanted to visit but hadn’t had the chance to yet – the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry This area has yielded more complete fossilized Allosaurus remains than anywhere else on the planet. Lots of good stuff there If you like these pics, go check out the museum’s website [...] If you ever want me out of your hair for a few hours, all you have to do is stuff me into a good museum with a camera The College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum has great stickers with “Death Elevated” on them and it’s one of the best museums I’ve been to in [...] Yes, there’s a real city owned swimming pool in Price, UT. But many of the kids in town would rather swim in a place like this It’s an irrigation canal and it’s normally a bit deeper than it was the day I took this picture. We only had water up to our waist and [...] Sorry for the delay, but I’ve been trying to get all the pics uploaded to save time on the back side for each of the posts to come in the future. Hopefully I’ll be able to get the rest of the posts up in the next couple of days I’ve also managed to get [...] |
