Someone tell me how this was an illegal act. No threat was made. No person was physically harmed. Nobody has even said who owned the property in question. Great job to all involved! Hat tip to Steve at The Woodshed. I moved to Las Vegas on October 26, 2004. Not a month later, I stood on the flightline at Nellis Air Force Base at Aviation Nation 2004. I knew this was the last time I would get the chance to see my favorite jet of all time, the mighty F-14 Tomcat in the air and I was not about to miss it. I was there Saturday and Sunday. I can’t remember who the pilot was for this flight, just that he seriously kicked ass. Made the rest look tame. Stole the Thunderbirds’ thunder. I have never seen another jet do such a low transition (pull the gear up at low altitude) as this guy did.
