As everyone here probably knows, I found out in January that Cindy and I were awaiting a bundle of joy sometime in August. My daughter, Ember Celee Wood, finally arrived at 0814 hours on 22 August 2012 We knew Ember would be a bit on the big side, so the doctor decided to do a C-Section to minimize chances of injury to her & her mom. Ember was 9 lb 11.5 oz and 21.5 inches when she was born. So CUTE Cindy had a bit of a reaction to the anesthetic in the spinal block used during the C-Section, so it took her a little while to get out of recovery. This pic was taken the day after the big event as Cindy was feeling a bit better We’re all doing well now except for the sleepless nights. I’ve got a steady job (more on that later) so she’s been letting me sleep, but I still love holding my daughter, feeding her when we have to use a bottle, and I don’t mind changing her diapers, either That’s all for now, but I’ll post again soon! Have a great day, everyone |
