Folks, I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted and I thank y’all for sticking around. Figured I’d fill in a few of the blanks as to why I haven’t been up on the blog as much as I’d like to be lately. What it boils down to is that I’m dealing with quite [...] I’m back in Nevada and I’m pretty sure the entire state of Utah just breathed a collective sigh of relief because of that fact The trip would’ve been about six hours, but I stopped for a while to look at ancient rock graffiti and go hiking / rock climbing in flip flops so it [...] Folks, it’s been crazy at work and I desperately need some time to decompress. And I’m trying to stay away from politics for the most part – it’s more depressing than most things in my life and I’d just as soon try to keep my blood pressure down if [...] Yep, it’s been a bit of a rough patch lately. Work’s been a bit more of a pain than usual, but that’s not all. It’s probably the change in the weather that’s caused me to lose the most sleep. I tend to deal a bit better with cool weather than overly warm and while it’s [...] I got to sleep a bit later than I’d have liked last night due to editing the pics and video and getting the post together for all the snowy goodness up on Mt. Charleston. No biggie – I’d be fine. It’s not like I’ve never done anything like that before, right? Wrong. I’ll be out and about for a bit with him for the next couple of days after work – he’s heading back on Saturday. Cash money’s a bit thin on the ground for everyone these days. Somehow, I managed to get myself two full days of overtime this weekend.
